Gorgeous deep, almost black foliage
Botanical Name: Heuchera 'Obsidian' PP14836
Hardiness Zone: 4-9
Obsidian features deep, dark, almost black colored foliage that emerges in early spring with a glossy, deep maroon hue and quickly fills in to form a dense, spreading mound of foliage that stays dark throughout the growing season. Long, thin flower spikes emerge from the foliage in late spring and begin to bloom in early summer with small white blossoms that really stand out in contrast to the dark foliage. Plant 'Obsidian' in full sun or partial shade and in groups to provide an even bigger color impact. It's easy to grow, drought tolerant, deer resistant and even attracts hummingbirds and butterflies!
